On the path into Ojo del Agua
we saw a field with several garden gnomes set around
for the amusement of the visitors.

Ojo del Auga (which means Eye of the Water) was an artesian well and swimming hole.
Beyond it, opposite its entrance, was a dirt pathway out.

Ojo del Auga (which means Eye of the Water) began as an artesian well.
As it became more popular, it was enlarged into its current rectangular form.
